Hi everyone,
I have started Westfield Preservation Alliance and I am excited about joining forces with the Westfield Historical Society. We have a big road ahead of us with alot of changes in the works for the old town area. I am looking to preserve our great history here and that includes our historical houses and buildings. Westfield is so rich in history. How can we have a future without first embracing our past?
Each structure is important in the overall fabric of Historic Westfield. To lose one hurts the rest. So many have been lost already. We can gain strength in our organization by talking about preservation with our friends and neighbors. I am looking for your stories of your families as well as photos and the the history of historic homes. Preservation is about Westfield as a whole.......the people, the houses, the events in history along the way. So whether you are young, older, new resident or perhaps you have lived here your whole life, please send me an email. It truly takes everyone to make a group successful.
