In honor of International Play Music on the Porch Day the Westfield Ukulele Circle offered to perform for us on the wonderful porch of the 1835 Barkers Family Log Cabin!
BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR - we have very limited seating available (especially with the large Ukulele band needing a lot of them!), so please bring your own chair.
We will provide some light refreshments
In case of bad weather, leave your chair in the car and join us in the Assembly Room next door.
Here a little about them:
The Westfield Ukulele Circle is a welcoming, inclusive and diverse group of ukulelists that meets weekly at Lord of Life Lutheran Church on East 191st Street. Members range in age from 16 to 80, working and retired, married and single, new beginners to experienced ukulele players. They come from throughout central Indiana to play. The focus is having fun while making music together. They play a wide range of music and share that music seasonally with the community on occasion.
More info in their Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/westfieldukulelecircle/
Note: With construction going on, please plan your route carefully. Union & SR32 might still be closed in August, so planning ahead is important. There is parking available on Penn Street, in the parking lot north of the Museum/Cabin and of course in the church parking lot. Bring your own chair. We will have some light refreshments and especially cold drinks available
